WordPress Maintenance Checklist

  1. Create a full backup named “before_maintenance_2020-10-25.zip”
  2. Update all the plugins and themes
  3. Check if there are any new message on admin dashboard
  4. Flush all the caches
  5. Check the site on incognito window
    1. Contact forms
    2. Visual issues
    3. Everything else
  6. Create a full backup again named “after_maintenance_2020-10-25.zip”
