Docker permission warning fixes on Linux

When you first install Docker in Ubuntu, you might get some permission error messages. To fix that, I use the commands below.

Error Message:
Got permission denied while trying to connect to the Docker daemon socket at ….

Initial Fix:

sudo groupadd docker
sudo gpasswd -a $USER docker
newgrp dockerCode language: Bash (bash)

.docker folder permission warning fix

sudo chown "$USER":"$USER" /home/"$USER"/.docker -R
sudo chmod g+rwx "/home/$USER/.docker" -RCode language: Bash (bash)
